As the author of A Guide to Social Media Era Parenting, Charryse Johnson provides practical strategies for tweens and teens to be safe via social media. It is a solutions-based book with relationship building strategies for parents, teachers, and students for maximum student success in and out of school.
Charryse provides consulting to schools and corporate clients in this social media age who want to know more about why the suicide rate among preteens is increasing? And how to make kids social and emotional health a priority.
In 2018 she received the Presidential Gold Volunteer Service Award in Education. She comes from a legacy of educators and community advocates that have inspired her life's journey. Charryse believes, “A Proactive Parent is a Powerful Parent.”
Recently, she served on a panel for teen girls for the National Diversity Council, along with other events serving as a panelist. In addition, Charryse shares her passion for helping families as an Insurance Agent and co founder of RSI Systems, LLC a technology solutions based company in Houston. Lastly, she is an alumni of the University of Houston, Go Coogs!
